Research use policy

What research-use-only actually means here: who may buy, what these materials may not be used for, and why the label alone settles nothing.

Not reviewed by counsel

Northlake Peptide Laboratories, Inc. is a demonstration brand and this document is a structurally complete placeholder, not legal advice and not a reviewed agreement. It states the intended position in plain terms so that a lawyer has something concrete to correct. Do not rely on it, and do not publish it in a live store without review by qualified counsel in your jurisdiction.

1.The use statement, in full

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use, and not for food or cosmetic use.

Materials in the research line are laboratory reagents. They are supplied for in vitro research and analytical use, by trained personnel, in a facility equipped to handle laboratory chemicals. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices, and they are not supplied for administration to humans or animals, for diagnostic or therapeutic use, or for incorporation into anything intended for consumption or application to the body.

2.A disclaimer is not a legal position

This is the part of the page that matters most, so it is not in small print.

Labelling something “research use only” describes an intended use. It does not change what a substance is, who may lawfully supply it, or who may lawfully hold it. Where a substance is a controlled substance, a prescription drug, an unapproved new drug, or is otherwise restricted in a jurisdiction, that status governs regardless of the label on the bottle or the wording on a website.

Regulators have consistently treated the surrounding context — how a product is marketed, what is implied about who buys it and why — as evidence of actual intended use. A site that sells to individuals, answers dosing questions, or illustrates its catalog with images of people is describing a use its disclaimer denies. That is why this site does none of those things, and why the restrictions here are enforced through buyer qualification rather than announced through a banner.

We do not represent that any material in this catalog may lawfully be purchased, held, imported, or used where you are. Establishing that is your obligation before you order.

3.Who may buy from this line

Orders from this line ship to qualified institutional or business accounts only. Account qualification is reviewed before an order is accepted.

Accounts are opened for organisations: institutional and academic laboratories, contract research organisations, analytical and testing facilities, and manufacturers with a laboratory function. We ask what the organisation is, who the contact is, and what the materials support. We do not open accounts for individuals buying for themselves, and an order placed on behalf of a person rather than an organisation is declined.

Qualification is stated on the product page, before anything is added to a cart, and again at checkout. Discovering a requirement only after building an order is a design choice this site refuses to make.

4.Uses we exclude

Materials from this line may not be:

  • administered to a human being or to an animal, by any route, for any purpose;
  • used in or as a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or medical device, or incorporated into one;
  • used for clinical diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or monitoring of disease;
  • resold, repackaged, or supplied to a consumer for personal use, or supplied to anyone who intends any of the above;
  • represented to a third party as approved by us, or as safe or lawful for any use excluded here.

Any of these is a breach of the terms of sale and closes the account.

5.Information we decline to give

We do not provide preparation, reconstitution, dilution-for-administration, dosing, cycling, stacking, or route-of-administration information for any material, and we do not describe therapeutic, cosmetic, physiological, or performance outcomes for anything in the catalog. Nothing in the research library covers those subjects and nothing will be added that does.

Questions of that kind are declined with a reason rather than answered in general terms or redirected to “published literature”. An indirect answer would misrepresent what is being sold as clearly as a direct one.

If you are seeking something for personal use, this is the wrong supplier, and a licensed clinician is the right route for anything intended for a person.

6.Status of this catalog

Northlake Peptide Laboratories, Inc. is a demonstration brand, and this catalog contains structured placeholder records rather than a real product list. No controlled, prescription, restricted, or unapproved drug product appears in it, and none will be added without documented legal verification of the specific compound, the jurisdictions it would ship to, and the buyers who could lawfully receive it.

The full statement of what is placeholder is in the terms.

7.Reporting misuse

If you believe material supplied by us is being resold or used in a way this policy excludes, tell us at support@northlakebio.example. Reports are investigated and accounts are closed where a breach is established.
